You can create copies of shipping methods in your store's admin panel. Copying shipping methods comes in handy especially when the store uses multiple shipping methods that are very similar to each other.
The functionality copies all of the original shipping method's details and settings (including weight limits and shipping costs) to the new method.
Here's how to copy a shipping method:
- If the shipping method in question is of the Delivery type, select the logistics service used for creating shipping labels.
When copying, you can select a different logistics service from the one in the original shipping method – provided that the service has been enabled in the online store before copying (e.g. Shipit).
If you change the service, accept the service's terms and conditions where necessary.
A copy of the shipping method has been created in the online store. The new method's name is prefixed by the Copy of phrase.
By default, the copy is disabled in all versions, so make sure that you enable it for all versions in which you'd like to use it.
