Saved product searches enable you to quickly obtain the information that you often or regularly search for. You can also use saved searches to add desired products - to a campaign, for instance.

Saved product searches can be created in the admin panel, in the Saved searches section on the left side of the Products page.

  1. To create a new product search, click Create saved search.

    The saved search form opens.

  2. Create the first search criterion. A search criterion can be used to include or exclude products from search results. However, the first search criterion must be inclusive.

To add search criteria to the search, click the button on the right side of the relevant row.

  3. Apply one of the available options to the criterion.

Brand, product category, supplier, language version and campaign can all be used to retrieve the products that belong to the selected category. Select a value for the classification method if you conduct a search based on any of these properties. The example illustrates how to search for all products of the Adidas brand.

The Filter option enables you to search for products based on their availability details. The example illustrates how to search for products that are in stock.

The Saved product search option enables you to use a previously-created saved search as a search criterion. The available values partially overlap with the values of the Filter option.

The Property option enables you to include products based on their properties. For instance, you can use the product description's contents or product name as a search criterion, just as in the example. With the help of the search criterion's logical operators, you can search for products whose selected property falls into a certain range.

As an option, you can also select the store or language version whose products you'd like to search.

  4. After creating all the necessary search criteria, select an order for the search results.
  5. To perform the search, click Search.

The results of the search you've just created will be displayed under the search form.

  6. Make sure that the search returns all the relevant products. You can still edit the search criteria or add new ones so that the search will return all the desired products.
  7. If you're happy with the search results, save the search by clicking the Save link.
