During the setup process, MyCashflow's representative connects your payment terminal to the MyCashflow point-of-sale system, which connects the payment terminal to your online store.

You can take care of the following setup steps yourself:

  1. Get a list of daily PIN codes for your payment terminal.

You will need the PIN codes to complete other setup steps.

You can find the daily PIN code in Verifone's merchant panel.

  2. Connect the payment terminal to the network.
  3. Update the device software.

When you update the software, an up-to-date software version and MyCashflow settings are downloaded to the payment terminal.

See how to update the payment terminal software.

Once you have configured the settings and the payment terminal is connected to your online store, you can start using the payment terminal for receiving payments in your online store.

Updating the payment terminal software

The software version of the payment terminal is updated by sending the payment terminal's daily report to Verifone.

The software update may take several minutes, and the device may restart several times during the process. During the update, the payment terminal prints information about the progress of the update on a receipt.

  1. Connect the payment terminal to the charger.
  2. Keep the payment terminal's 0 key pressed down, and select Reports from the home screen.

The payment terminal will prompt you to enter the daily PIN code to access the settings menu.

  3. Select Send batch.

The payment terminal sends all payment transactions stored in its memory to Verifone's system. At the same time, the software version of the device will be checked and updated if necessary.

After the device software has been updated, the payment terminal returns to the home screen.
