The built-in, ready-to-use store themes can be easily enabled via the User interface > Themes page, whereas custom themes first must be first to the online store’s file directory and then selected in store version settings.

MyCashflow includes free, ready-to-use, built-in themes as well as external themes, which are enabled in different ways. Both ways are presented below.

Enabling built-in themes

To enable a free, ready-to-use, built-in theme:

  1. In the admin panel, go to User interface > Themes.
  2. Select the theme that you’d like to activate.
You can check what the theme looks like on different devices and in different color versions via the Preview link.
  3. Select the desired color version from the color menu.
  4. Click Activate theme and select the store versions for which the theme should be enabled.
  5. Click Save.

The theme is now enabled in the selected versions. In the right-hand pane on the User interface > Themes page, you can see a list of all themes activated in your online store along with versions for which they have been enabled.

Enabling external themes

To enable a custom, not built-in theme:

  1. Upload the theme folder to your online store's file directory by using the MyCashflow file browser.

To access the file browser, in your online store's admin panel, go to User interface > Filebrowser.

Store themes should be added to the themes/shop folder, whereas email themes go to the themes/email

  2. If the folder has been packed, e.g. to a zip archive, unpack it:
    1. Click the packed file's name.

You'll see a list of the files contained in the archive.

    2. Scroll to the bottom of the list, and click Unzip.

All files contained in the archive will be unzipped to the same folder.

After a theme has been added to your online store's file directory, it needs to be enabled in all the desired language and store versions.
  1. In the admin panel, go to User interface > Versions.
  2. To start editing the desired store version, in the version's details, click Edit.

    The version settings form opens.

  3. In the Store theme menu, select the theme folder you've added and unzipped in the file browser.

If you cannot find the theme in the menu, even though the theme folder has been unzipped in the file browser, contact the theme's designer or our customer service.

  4. Save version settings.
