The payment terminal of MyCashflow POS must be connected to the internet so that it can be used to handle payments. The payment terminal supports WLAN and mobile connections.

Using a WLAN connection

Here's how to connect the V400 payment terminal to a WLAN network:

  1. Hold the 0 button at the bottom of the payment terminal's keypad and select Settings from the start screen.

    The payment terminal requests the daily PIN code. Leave the field empty and proceed by pressing the terminal's green enter button.

  2. From the settings menu select Settings > Connection method > WIFI.

    The device will connect to the WLAN network whenever it is available.

  3. Select Settings > WLAN Settings from the settings menu.

    You are taken to the network settings menu where you can select the WLAN network and configure its settings.

  4. In the network settings menu, enter the details of the WLAN network to connect:
    • SSID (network name)
    • Encryption key (Network password)
    • Encryption type (often WPA2-PSK)
  5. Finally, you can return to the payment terminal's home screen.

Once the connection is successful, the WiFi connection icon will be displayed in the top-right corner of the payment terminal's home screen

If the payment terminal is already connected to the MyCashflow point-of-sale system, you can press the network connection icon to connect the payment terminal to the online store.

Using a mobile connection

The V400 payment terminal supports the use of 4G connections for connecting the payment terminal. Here's how to connect your payment terminal to a mobile network:

  1. Remove the back panel of the device and insert a SIM card with network connectivity into the device.
  2. Hold the 0 button at the bottom of the payment terminal's keypad and select Settings from the start screen.

    The payment terminal requests the daily PIN code. Leave the field empty and proceed by pressing the terminal's green enter button.

  3. Select Settings > Connection method > GPRS.

    The device will connect to the mobile network whenever it is available.

Once the connection is successful, the GPRS connection icon will be displayed in the top-right corner of the payment terminal's home screen.

If the payment terminal is already connected to the MyCashflow point-of-sale system, you can press the network connection icon to connect the payment terminal to the online store.
