Alternatives to Pakettikauppa

The following services provide multiple logistics services via a single centralized system – similarly to Pakettikauppa.

  • nShift eCom LITE: The built-in logistics solution nShift eCom LITE with no monthly fee enables you to use the services supported by nShift without having to register as nShift's customer, using your own contract numbers instead.

    The fixed costs of using the nShift eCom LITE service are €0.40/printed shipping label. Additionally, logistics companies might charge you separately for using some specific services.

  • nShift eCom PRO: With the nShift eCom PRO extension, you can enable in your online store all nShift delivery services with monthly pricing that is especially cost-effective for a large number of shipments.

    The costs of using the nShift eCom PRO extension are €10/mo. + €0.30/shipment.

Updating the shipping methods

To replace Pakettikauppa in your online store, copy the shipping methods that use Pakettikauppa and select a new logistics service to be used with them. See detailed instructions below.

  1. Select a logistics service as a replacement and register as its user if required.

    You can find detailed instructions on how to install logistics extensions in the respective help articles.

  2. In the admin panel of your online store, go to Settings > Shipping methods.
  3. Open the shipping method for copying from the menu on the left side.
  4. In the shipping method details, press the Copy button.
  5. Select the logistics service of your choice (e.g., Shipit or nShift) for the shipping method.
  6. If required, accept the terms of service and save changes.

    After copying, there is a new hidden shipping method in the online store, with the same settings and shipping costs as in the original. Only the logistics service that is to be used has changed.

    If necessary, you can change the settings of the shipping method before releasing it for your customers.

  7. If you want to release the shipping method right away, open the shipping method form and select under Enabled in version all the versions with which you want to use the shipping method.
  8. Finally, save the settings of the shipping method.

If you have decided to release the shipping method in the specified versions, the new shipping method is now available for customers, with the same conditions as originally.
