Legacy default theme to be sunset by the end of 2021

The development of MyCashflow's Legacy default theme has been discontinued, and the theme will be disabled.

MyCashflow now includes a new Fluid theme, which you can easily customize through the graphical user interface with no need for coding skills.

Once the theme is disabled, it won't be possible to enable it in any online store anymore. The downloadable version of the theme is also going to be removed.

If you use the Legacy default theme that you've downloaded and added to your store's file directory, it will continue to work. However, we don't recommend using the Legacy theme.

Enabling free themes

If your online store uses the Legacy default theme, and you'd like to replace it with a more modern theme, here's what you should do:

  1. In the admin panel, go to User interface > Themes.
  2. Select the theme that you’d like to activate.
You can check what the theme looks like on different devices and in different color versions via the Preview link.
  3. To enable a theme, click Edit theme.

    The theme editor opens.

  4. From the top bar, select the version in which you want to enable the theme.
  5. Make the necessary to the theme.

Changes you make will remain in memory even if you close the theme editor.

  6. When you're ready to publish the theme, click Publish theme in the theme editor's top bar.

The new store theme is now enabled in the store versions you selected.

The Legacy default theme's PDF file templates

The Legacy default theme's PDF file templates have been widely used as a basis for customization. Following the removal of the theme, PDF printouts have now been made into separate PDF themes.

You can select a PDF theme in the PDF theme menu of the version settings. By default, the store theme is selected. This ensures that any customized PDF printouts your theme may contain stay enabled after the update. However, we recommend that you create a designated PDF theme out of the printouts as soon as possible.

If your store does not have a PDF theme of its own, and the store theme contains no PDF templates either, the system will use an internal PDF theme whose files are not available under the store's file directory.
