If you want a multi-page checkout for your online store, it must be implemented in the theme using separate checkout templates.
The internal multi-page checkout has also been deprecated.
If the store theme uses the multi-page checkout,, but some of its stages have not been implemented, this template will be used to replace any of the missing checkout stages.
Generally, this template makes it possible to quickly implement a simple multi-page checkout.
If you use this template, you will not be able to customize the contents and markup of individual stages.
Most often it is better to implement a separate template for each checkout stage.
