Several online store settings may restrict the visibility of a shipping method at checkout. Go over all the items below to find out why a shipping method is not shown.

In order for a shipping method to appear at the online store checkout when placing an order, the following conditions must be met:

  • Store version: The version browsed by the visitor must be selected in the shipping method settings section Enabled in version.
  • Login and customer group: If the option Require login is selected in the shipping method settings , the shipping method is visible only to logged-in customers. An additional condition may be that the customer belongs to a specific customer group.
  • Phone number: If the option Phone number required is selected in the shipping method settings , the shipping method is only visible to customers who have provided their phone number.
  • Shipping costs and order weight: There must be at least one shipping cost set for the shipping method, and the total weight of the order must not exceed the maximum weight specified in the shipping costs.If a minimum weight limit has also been set in the shipping method settings, the total weight of the order must not be less than that.
  • Package size: The package sizes of all products included in the order must be allowed in the shipping method settings.
  • Country of delivery: The country of delivery selected by the customer at checkout must be allowed in the shipping method settings.
  • Postal code: If a postal code restriction has been set for the shipping method, the shipping method is only visible to customers whose provided shipping address is within the restricted postal code area.
