This page tells you how to create a new email theme.

We recommend using MyCashflow's new default email theme as the basis for your own email theme.

The default email theme includes many useful features that will speed up the customization and design of your custom theme.

  • Thoroughly tested on different devices and email programs.

Here's how to create your own email theme:

  1. If the email theme folder themes/email doesn't exist yet, create it in the store's file directory.
  2. Create the email theme folder in themes/email/THEMENAME.
  3. Create the email theme's configuration file themes/email/THEMENAME/theme.xml.

  4. Place all email templates you need in your email theme folder.

    No email template is mandatory. Any missing file will be replaced with the corresponding template of the alternative theme defined in the email theme configuration file.

    If no alternative email theme is set in the configuration file, the files from MyCashflow's old default email theme (MyCashflow 2012) will be used instead.

At the end, you will have a working basis for your new email theme.
