You can create discounts and special offers with the help of campaigns, discount coupons and product bundles. Additionally, you can also create gift cards for your customers.

Campaigns

Campaigns allow you to create the following types of discounts in your store:

  • Product discounts apply to the products selected for the campaign regardless of other purchases.
  • Quantity-based discounts offer a lower total price if the customer orders several items of the same product.
  • Discount line gives the customer a percentage or euro discount on the total price of the products you specify or the order total.
  • Free delivery means that the customer does not have to pay shipping costs. You can set a minimum order amount and choose the shipping methods that are covered by the campaign.

Discount codes

Discount coupons are discount codes that the customer can enter at checkout to receive a discount. You can use discount coupons to award one-off or campaign-type discounts that vary according to availability and usage options.

Product bundles

MyCashflow's product bundles allow you to offer several products for sale as one combined package at a different price than the total of its individual products (for instance, a baseball bat, a ball, and a glove at the price of 60 €).

By default, the product bundle's price is the total of all bundle products' prices. However, you can also set a different price for the bundle after you've added all the relevant products to the bundle.

Gift cards

You can also encourage your customers to shop by using gift cards.

Customers can pay with a gift card by entering its code in the Campaign code field at checkout. In the field, customers can type the codes of multiple gift cards as well as other discount codes (campaigns and discount coupons), one at a time.

Gift cards function as the online store's payment method:

  • The customer can use multiple gift cards to pay for the order.
  • Gift cards cannot be limited to specific products, they always apply to the order total instead.
  • Using a gift card does not reduce the order total (nor taxes) but only the sum to be paid.
  • If the gift card's value covers the order total, the customer doesn't need to select a payment method at all.
  • If the gift card's value covers only a part of the order total, the customer can pay the outstanding balance with any of the online store's payment methods that is available.
  • It is also possible to use one discount coupon or campaign code in the online store.
  • If there is value left on the gift card after it has been used to pay for an order, its code can be reused at checkout.

Other options to offer discounts

You can award discounts or special offers to customers also by using the following features:

  • The Cart Recovery extension: The extension enables you to send an automatic reminder to visitors who abandoned their shopping carts in your online store.

    You can also add a one-off campaign code to the message to grant a fixed or percentage discount to the customer.

  • Free shipping limits for shipping methods: You can define a free shipping limit in euros for a shipping method above which there is no shipping fee.
  • Free products and gifts with purchase: You can also offer free products by using 100% discounts (campaigns and discount coupons).
