The new, easy-to-use WYSIWYG text editor has been available in MyCashflow since 7 April 2015. The editor is enabled by default only in the online stores that were opened after this date. If your store was opened earlier, you can start using the new editor at any time.

The new editor is going to replace the old editor in all store's forms:

  • In the admin panel's products, product categories and brands forms
  • In campaigns' management forms
  • On content pages and in news
  • In general and version settings

For the time being, the editor is in test phase, during which you can make yourself familiar with it and, if you wish, go back to using the old editor.

When you enable the new editor, the Textile contents written in the old editor will be converted automatically to the HTML format used by the new editor. There is no need for you to process the old contents when updating the editor.

Currently, the editor can be enabled on single pages or in the entire store by using the editor bulk edit tool.

Enabling the editor on a single page

You can enable the new text editor temporarily or permanently in any long text field, at any time:

  1. Open the selected page of the online store in the admin panel (e.g. a content page or product).
  2. Above the page's content field, you'll see a notification about enabling the new text editor.

Press the Enable the new text editor in the text field link displayed in the notification.

The new editor is enabled and the field's content – if there is any, is converted to the HTML format automatically.

  3. If you want the editor to be enabled permanently on the page, save the page and confirm the enablement.

The editor will be enabled only on the page you've just edited. All other pages of the same type (e.g. products) will be still using the old editor.

    The enablement cannot be cancelled.

  4. If you want to continue using the old editor, press the Switch back to the old editor link in the notification.

The editor and the field's content (if any) will be reverted to its previous stage.
