In 2015, MyCashflow text editor was updated to the easy-to-use WYSIWYG editor. The new editor is enabled by default only in the online stores that were opened after 7 April 2015. In older stores, the new editor can be enabled at any time. In this article, we present the bulk edit tool that allows you to enable the new editor in the entire online store.

When you enable the new editor, the Textile contents written in the old editor will be converted automatically to the HTML format used by the new editor. There is no need for you to process the old contents when updating the editor.

This is how to conduct a mass update of the text editor:

  1. Make sure to test the new editor on a single page first, so that you know what your contents is going to look like in the new editor.

If necessary, see the instructions how to enable the editor on a single page.

  2. Once you've made sure that your content is fine after the editor update, go to the bulk edit tool displayed on any page on which the old editor is still in use:
  3. Press the Start update button to start the mass update.

Remain on the page until the update has completed. If you leave the page, the update will stop.

The update progress is displayed on the page. If there is a lot of contents in your online store, the update may take several minutes.

  4. Once the update is complete, check that the new editor has been implemented in your contents successfully.

Now all pages in your store use the new WYSIWYG editor. The contents created in the old Textile editor has automatically been converted to the HTML format used by the new editor.
