Products can be selected for a CSV export by using saved product searches. So you need to create a new saved search that finds the relevant products.

If the products you'd like to export don't have any common feature with which you could include them in the same search, you can create a hidden product category to which you can add the products.

Including selected products in a CSV export

  1. Add a new hidden product category to your online store, and save it under the name CSV product category, for instance.
  2. Set the products selected for the CSV export as visible in the newly created product category.
  3. Specify the following search condition: Include – Product category – The product category you created in step 1.
  4. Preview the search, and make sure that its results include all relevant products.
  5. Go to create a new CSV export on the Reports > CSV Export page.

    Select Products as the export's type.

  6. Select all details you'd like to include in the CSV file.

    Select the saved search you created earlier in the Saved product search item.

    Finally, click Preview.

  7. If the file's contents is OK, download the CSV file.
