This change will affect any custom integrations built using the MyCashflow API (for example, integrations with ERP software). The support for the old TLS versions will be dropped on 15 March 2022, after which any integrations using them will seize to function.

TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a cryptographic protocol that enables secure and encrypted communications between systems. The older versions of the protocol are no longer secure. This update ensures that all data transfers to and from the MyCashflow API are encrypted securely.

This update does not affect the built-in MyCashflow extensions, since they already use newer TLS protocol versions.

Most modern SSL libraries and servers already support newer TLS protocol versions, which means that this update only concerns integrations that use very old technology.

If you are a merchant, find out if your store has custom integrations built with the MyCashflow API. If you do have custom integrations, contact their developers and make sure that they have ensured the functioning of their software after the update.

If you are an integration developer, make sure that all of your MyCashflow integrations use up-to-date SSL libraries and that no API requests are encrypted by older TLS protocol versions.
