You can switch to a cheaper or free plan at any time. Switching to the free plan can be useful, for example, if you want to close your store only temporarily.

When switching from a more expensive plan to a cheaper or free one, pay attention to the following:

  • Delete contents from your online store's file directory so that the space you use does not exceed the limits of the plan you want to downgrade to.

    You don't need to delete the files permanently, download them to your computer instead.

    When clearing file folders, pay special attention to cleaning product images and documents, such as Prinetti's order documents and receipts.

  • Take a CSV export of all data that you want to keep. In this way, you will be able to easily restore the data in the online store if needed, shall you upgrade back to a more expensive plan in the future.

    Your online store's content pages cannot be backed up by a CSV export, you'll need to copy them manually instead. For example, you can copy the texts to a word processor of your choice and save them as plain text files.

    If you want to back up all product descriptions translated into different languages, back up each version separately. You can select the store version whose contents you'd like to back up by using the version selector in the upper left corner of the admin panel.

  • After you have backed up all the desired information, delete the products until the total number of products is within the allowed limit of the plan you'd like to downgrade to.

  • Also, delete the store versions until they are within the allowed limit of the new plan.

  • If you'd like to downgrade to the free plan, but you have custom domains enabled, change the URL of the store version that you're going to keep to http://STORENAME.mycashflow.fi.

  • When downgrading to the free plan, make sure to disable all extensions.

Once you have deleted all the extra contents, go to the Account page, and change your store's current plan to the plan of your choice.
